Where I dream of living.

Post  Laney on Sun Jun 21, 2009 8:22 pm

Jess have you ever been to Lower Merion? It's in the area with Gladwynne, Bala Cynwyd, and I believe Newtown Square is there also. Well my lasik appt. was in Bala Cynwyd yesterday. DJ lived in Lower Merion and went there to the Episcopal academy when he was in elementary school. He wanted to drive us over there and show it to us. The Episcopal academy is now St. Josephs University and they have moved the Episcopal academy down the street to Newtown Square. We were driving through Lower Merion and it is so nice and beautiful. I would give anything to live there. There are no public schools in Lower Merion, they are all private. And all of the houses there are hundreds of years old. Such a beautiful little town. I came home and looked up the 2 houses we saw that were for sale and other houses we didn't see. No house there is less than a million dollars. affraid DJ is starting a new adventure (keep your fingers crossed for him) and if this pays off, that's where we're going. It is so beautiful there.

I'm trying. The sight I always search on won't let me link to a search. Let me find another one.

Here's the one I want. Its the 2nd cheapest one for sale in the area. DJ is very proud of my frugality.

I love Lower Merion. I always tell Antonio we're going to move to Bala Cynwyd. He just rolls his eyes.

You know the movie Philadelphia? Andrew Beckett was from either Lower or Upper Merion. I don't remember which. Kobe Bryant is from there too. It's a beautiful area.
