It won't stop raining here either. Roads are closed everywhere. We tried to go to the pool on Sunday. There is a hill behind the pool with a creek at the bottom. It's at least 15 ft. down from the pool. The creek flooded from all of the rain on Saturday. 3 of the 4 pools (one is on an upper deck) were flooded. They had to drain all 3 pools, clean them, and refill them. Shocked

This mild summer is nuts! A tornado hit my friend's house out at E-470 and Smokey Hill. And there have been funnels out by my parent's house and our other friends in Brighton. And then this weekend, a tornado hit 2 miles from my cousin's house in Kiowa. The weather flooded her barn, so she had to take the horses OUT during the storm. So she was freaked out about that. Her trampoline ended up in the neighbors tree from the wind.

We went to WY this weekend and it was mild all weekend. We had to leave the lake early one day because of the ominous clouds that were creeping up on us. Golfball sized hail like thirty minutes later.

It's been a wacky summer so far for sure!
