I can't decide between cadaver grey or sallow green for my death flesh color. There is a misty violet color and a maroon I plan on using for burst blood vessels, veins, wounds etc

I also have liquid latex for a special gore mask I am going to make of toilet paper from jaw to jaw on the bottom of my face, a bottle of fake blood, deep grey and dark purple for shadows and brusing/skin discoloration.

In the mall here, a new pet shop called Furry Babies opened up last week. I've been there every day since it opened, and I'm pretty sure the manager is going to give me a job there. I was asking about puppy mills, and she said the puppies don't come from there. She said they come from licensed AKC breeders. The puppies aren't kept in cages either, they're kept in baby cribs. I just wanted to get the opinion from you guys... do you think its the truth? I'm not too keen about working somewhere ...

I crumbled/smashed it up and threw it in a pan on low while my two hard shell tacos baked in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes. Put the tiniest drop of olive oil so it would help soak up the taco seasoning. Sprinkled about 1/4 a taco seasoning packet (to taste).

Smash the burger til it's the consistancy you like your taco meat.

I took a frozen patty and rubbed olive oil on both sides so it wouldn't stick to the grill, then sprinkled a tiny bit of salt, pepper, onion powder (basically how I treat meat before grilling) then I grilled it for 4 minutes on each side and melted a piece of cheese on top.

The edges got nice and crispy and that's how I used to like my meat off the grill. Then I took it inside and nuked it on high for almost 30 seconds to be sure that sucker ...

I used garlic, onion, small red potato skin on, green pepper and jalepeno pepper in mine and fried them in peanut oil.

Even Brad, who claims to be a bean hater liked them!

Let them sit and get full of crispy love, stop yourself from getting impatient and flipping them around too much.

I am shocked reading a certain site and most if not all of the "chow lovers" have several chows in a single home and recount nonchalant frightening stories about how often their dogs fight, how to care for puncture wounds etc.

It seems like a form of cruelty to me, if you can't/don't protect your animals. It's just too stupid and selfish if you've got an aggressive animal to keep bringing more dogs into the house. They claim to care ...

A few weeks before I moved in someone dumped and little brown tabby kitten in the backyard of the hospital. It took them 2 hours to catch him. I decided to keep him and I named him Andrew. We met them tonight. They were too cute and so friendly they follow you around and don't mind being handled at all.

One (Bud) is all brown except the tip of his beak was pink like lips lol the other (Ice) is yellow and has slight brown markings above the eyes. I'll take pics and video when they get here.

I had my LASIK at 10:00 yesterday. I was scared to death. They gave me 10mg of valium and I was feeling good! I was singing and dancing. I don't know if it was the valium or what but that was the coolest thing I have ever experienced. The laser made all kinds of pretty colors. When the flap was lifted off of my cornea, or wherever it comes off of, it was bizarre. I really was blind during the procedure for a few seconds but they warned me it would happen so I was okay with it. I think ...

RIP Smokey Marie.

I just realized that I never told y'all about new additions! In May we got Caroline a Guinea Pig she named Ava. She black and tan and smooth coated. She's a nibbler which freaks Caroline out but we're getting her tamed down.

A few weeks later I was at the feed store where I get the animals food and I saw a red Guinea Pig. The poor guy had been there since January! I could never understand why he didn't find a home so I decided to get him for Jonah. I've never seen such a tame Guinea ...

I don't know how they do it in other parts of the country but here in Texas they give you this big list of school supplies to buy at the beginning of the year. All of the stuff goes into a big pot so you don't get what you bought anyway.

For the last two years I have purchased the one from PTA. You pay and it gets delivered at open house. I know I was paying more but the extra went to the PTA so I was okay with it. This year the PTA decided not to do it so I have to go find all of this ...

I'm just afraid I would hate it in the winter because I don't know what it's like here in the winter. I've only spent weekends here. In any case, should I move us here for the summer? ...

We had this at the ranch. It sounds plain, but it is truly wonderful. I was shocked.

Cowboy Bean Soup

4 cups dry beans (mixed)

8 - 12 cups water

Add seasonings (see below)

Put in crock pot on high

Simmer overnight

Add:

2 tbsp Carl’s All Purpose Seasoning (you can order online at: www.carlsseasoning.com)

1 tsp onion powder

2 tsp sea salt

Stir well and then simmer for 4-5 hours on high setting

*Optional ingredients:

 Crumbled sausage

 Stewed tomatoes
